A very strong High Pressure stationary over the Central Rockies will amplify and raise temps to above seasonal levels through today. Expect clear skies over the next 48 hours ahead of a Low Pressure system and associated Cold Front pushing through the mountains Thursday into Friday. Snow showers in the higher elevations and rain in the valleys can be expected across the region. The week-end will see sunny but cooler temps across the Central Rockies.
