In its second year, High Country Comedy brings humor to the slopes every month! The talent descends on Breckenridge the second Wednesday of each month at Park Avenue Pub and features a nationally touring headliner along with one of the regions best up and comers. Chuck Roy, a semi-finalist on the most recent season of NBC's "Last Comic Standing," Louis Johnson, winner of Showtime's "Funniest Person in America Contest"; and Troy Baxley, a two-time finalist at the prestigious HBO Comedy Festival, are just a few of the entertainers who have appeared. The Breck Epic
July 5-10,

The Breck Epic - A 6-day ultra-endurance mountain bike stage race held in the sprawling backcountry of Breckenridge. After a 10-mile time-trial on day one athletes will contest 5 subsequent stages spending 4-8 hours on course each day, most of it over 10,000 feet. www.breckepic.com
